Hello everyone, I am Lily, a designer of a lipstick brand. Today I would like to share with you the packaging design process of our brand’s latest lipstick and how this product went from concept to market. I hope my experience can bring some inspiration to everyone!
Design intention: starting from user needs
When designing this lipstick, our goal is very clear: to make the product look attractive and to make users feel practical and environmentally friendly. As an item that is carried with you every day, the packaging of lipstick should not only be beautiful, but also durable and lightweight. Our team spent a lot of time studying user habits and found that many consumers like simple but textured designs, and more and more people are paying attention to environmental issues. So we decided to start with these two points.
Packaging design: a combination of simplicity and environmental protection
Material selection
We chose recyclable materials as the main material for packaging. In order to find a suitable supplier, we compared many manufacturers and finally found an ideal solution through the supplier of **wholesale deodorant containers**. Their containers are not only environmentally friendly, but also highly customized, which perfectly meets our needs.
Appearance design
We adopted a minimalist style, mainly pure colors, with a hot stamping logo, which looks high-end and friendly. The lipstick tube is designed with a frosted texture, which is not only anti-slip, but also avoids fingerprints and keeps the appearance neat. The cover part has a magnetic design, and there is a crisp “click” sound when opening and closing, which brings a pleasant experience to users.
Small ingenuity: hidden label
We designed a rotatable hidden label at the bottom of the lipstick, and users can check the color number of the lipstick by turning the label. This small ingenuity not only increases the fun, but also solves the problem that traditional labels are easy to wear.
Packaging is the language of the brand
Pre-sale stage
Before the product was officially launched, we released a series of pre-sale videos through social media, focusing on the design ingenuity and environmental protection concept of the packaging. Many users showed great interest in the magnetic cover and hidden label, and said they were “planted”.
Launch stage
After the product was launched, we set up an experience area in offline stores so that customers can try it out and feel the texture of the packaging in person. Many customers said that they love the feel and opening and closing design of the lipstick, and some even bought multiple colors because of the packaging.
User feedback and improvement
After the launch, we collected user feedback through social media and customer service channels. Many users mentioned that they liked this environmentally friendly and practical design, and some even suggested that we launch other products in the same series. Based on these feedbacks, we are considering launching more cosmetics with similar packaging designs.
Through this design, I deeply realized that packaging is not only a tool to protect products, but also a bridge for brands to communicate with users. Our lipstick packaging successfully impressed consumers with its simple design, environmentally friendly materials and humanized details. If you are also looking for high-quality packaging solutions, you might as well try **wholesale deodorant containers**, their products and services are really great!
I hope my sharing will be helpful to everyone! If you have any questions or ideas, please leave a message in the comment area to discuss!
